Jumpy Jumpy Sword Man

The lizards have taken over Castle Redskell and it's up to you to get rid of the little green menaces. Taking a queue from my beloved childhood game, Rastan, Jumpy Jumpy Sword Man is a single player side-scrolling hack n' slash made in PICO-8. It's like Super Mario, only with a sword. Press Z to jump and X to slash with your sword. To come down on your enemies' heads Rastan style press jump (Z), down, and then sword (X). Take that! You just owned that dude. Don't forget to duck by pressing down while you're on the ground! You can still slash with your sword while ducking damage, just like you could in Rastan, a game we all know and love if you're above the age of 45. With four levels and two bosses this game provides literally minutes of entertainment.

 Hey, it's free, ok? Jeez. Listen, this is my first game, so go easy on me. The soundtrack actually isn't half bad, I swear.
